Greg Glaus was named the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in March of 2013 while maintaining his role as the Eligibility Coordinator for the department. In these roles, Glaus coordinates all initial and continuing eligibility processes, APR & GSR planning and reporting, and provides administrative oversight and strategic planning for Kent State University’s compliance program.
Glaus started his career at Kent State University in 2006 as a college office academic advising graduate assistant. In 2007, he started full-time as the primary athletic academic counselor for the football, baseball, volleyball and men’s golf. During his tenure in academic services, Glaus worked his way up to be the Assistant Director of Academic Services and in 2010 he made the transition into NCAA compliance as the Assistant Director of Compliance. In 2012, Glaus was then promoted to the position of Eligibility Coordinator in addition to his compliance duties.
A native of Barberton, Ohio; Glaus earned his B.S. Ed degree in Health & Physical Education as an honors scholar from Wright State University in 2005 where he was a member of the baseball program. He earned his M. Ed degree in 2009 from Kent State University in Higher Education Administration and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in the same field.
Greg and his wife, Amie, reside in Silver Lake with their two daughters, Grace and Claire.
