Sport coverage: Volleyball, track & field
Megan Goodrich joined the sports medicine staff as an assistant
athletic trainer in the summer of 2011 for the volleyball and
men’s and women’s track and field teams.
Prior to joining Kent State University, Goodrich was a graduate
assistant athletic trainer at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill for two years, while earning her Masters of Arts in
Athletic Training. During her time at UNC, Goodrich worked with the
National Championship field hockey team, and the men’s and
women’s track and field team.
Goodrich received her Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine
degree from Mercyhurst College in 2009, after working as a student
athletic trainer in the high school and college settings. Goodrich
is a member of the National Athletic Trainers association, Great
Lakes Athletic Trainer’s Association, and the Ohio Athletic
Trainer’s Association. She is also CPR/First Aid/AED and
graston technique certified.
Goodrich resides in Reminderville, Ohio, with her husband,
Pat.
