Flashes to Compete in Navy Classic Saturday

Kent State will compete in its first team-scored tournament of the season Saturday at the 39^th annual Navy Classic. The Golden Flashes will be among 12 teams competing inside Wesley Brown Field House in Annapolis, Md.

Eighteen Flashes are expected be in action, beginning with the preliminary rounds at 10 a.m. The finals are slated for 5 p.m.

Updated brackets can be found on Flowrestling.com throughout the day. Video will not be available. Nineteen placewinners return from last year's Navy Classic, but each weight class will have a new champion crowned.

Last Season & History
Kent State finished second of 10 teams at last season's Navy Classic. The Flashes returning placewinners include: Anthony Tutolo, third at 133, Chance Driscoll sixth at 141, Stephen Suglio sixth at heavyweight. Suglio also finished fourth in 2014 at 197.
Kent State has competed in the Navy Classic in each of the previous five seasons and last won the event in 2012.
