Erickson Named MAC Field Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State senior Roseanne Erickson has been named MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday, March 29th.
This past weekend at the Yellow Jacket Relays in Atlanta, Ga., Erickson secured 4th place in the long jump with a mark of 6.1m (20' 0.25"). Erickson's mark ranks 1st in the Mid-American Conference and 18th in the nation so far this season.
This was Erickson's first competition since she captured the Indoor MAC Championship in the long jump with an indoor personal-best jump of 6.24m (20' 5.75").
Kent State returns to action this weekend as they send part of the team to the Ohio Cherry Blossom Invitational in Athens, Ohio on Saturday, April 2nd.
