Kent State Golf Assisting United Way of Portage County Golf Classic

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University men and women's golf teams will be partnering with United Way of Portage County for the 2017 United Way of Portage County Golf Classic (UWPC).
This event will be held on Sept. 27 in Ravenna, Ohio at the Windmill Lakes Golf Club. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the event starting at 1 p.m. and an awards ceremony to end the event at 5:30 p.m.
The event pairs three golfers each with a member of the Kent State men and women's golf teams, either current or alumni, to act as the guest "pro" on the team. Each team will cost a minimum of $1,000, which will include one team of three amateurs, one guest player from Kent State, a hole sponsorship signage, golf cart, lunch, beverage car, awards reception and recognition on all promotion and signage. There is a limit of 24 available teams for this event and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
