
Men’s Golf To Compete in Florida Regional as Fifth Seed

KENT, Ohio- The No. 29 Kent State men's golf team has been selected as the fifth seed in the NCAA Regional Tournament at the Reunion Resorts in Kissimmee, Fla., hosted by the University of Central Florida.
Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 14-16. Thirteen teams and ten individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.
Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 25-30 at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla. Oklahoma State University is the host institution for the 2018 championships.
The Golden Flashes are coming off an impressive comeback performance at the 2018 MAC Championships, taking home the program's 25th conference title. Four of the five members made up the All-MAC First team, headlined by MAC Golfer of the Year, Ian Holt.
