Sleet was falling at Dix Stadium on a cold Tuesday morning, but it didn't seem to bother the Kent State football team on Day Eight of the 15-session spring season.

Most of the offensive and defensive schemes are now in place, allowing players to focus more on technique and team chemistry.  Many of the Golden Flashes were seen coaching one another as communication appeared to be at its highest on Tuesday.

While the Spring Game is set for April 21, many of the players have their minds on the Jersey Scrimmage this Saturday.  A point-system is put in place for an offense versus defense competition.  The winning side earns the right wear blue jerseys in all future practices.
