2009 – Junior notes
• Started all 19 games for Kent State in the
attack
• Finished second on the team in scoring with four
goals and two assists for 10 points
• Got her Kent State career off on the right foot, scoring
the game-winner in season opener against Eastern Kentucky (Aug.
19)
• Added game-winning goals vs. Tulsa (Sept. 11) and
Miami (Sept. 27)
• Registered assists against Ball State (Sept. 25) and
Western Michigan (Oct. 11)
• Had a team-high eight shots at Bowling Green (Oct.
16)
Prior to Kent State
• Spent the past two seasons at the University of
Wisconsin, where she played in 23 games and had one assist
• At Medina High School, Had 17 goals and five assists for
39 points as a senior to help the Battling Bees (12-4-2) earn a
share of the Pioneer Conference title
• Two-time all-conference honoree and First Team All-Ohio as
a senior
• Cleveland Plain Dealer “Best of the
Best”
• Finished with 51 career goals while splitting time at
forward and defense
• Captain of the Cleveland Cobras club team she helped to a
pair state championships (2005, 2006) and a national indoor title
(2006)
• Member of the Ohio North state ODP team
• Selected to the Region II team in 2005 and 2006 and was
part of the 2007 international tour team that competed in
Brazil
• A top 50 recruit for the 2006 class as well as a member of
the ‘89 ODP Region II team
Personal
• Daughter of Tim and Gale Flanagan; has two sisters, Erin
and Megan
• Majoring in physical education
