McNally Grabs Co-Wrestler of the Week

KENT, OHIO- Kent State junior Andrew McNally earned the Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Wrestler of the Week for his efforts at the Mountaineer Invitational hosted by Appalachian State.

McNally ran roughshod through the bracket at the Mountaineer Invitational to claim the title at 174 pounds on Saturday. The junior went 4-0 on the day, earning victories by fall, major decision and two decisions by six and seven points, respectfully. McNally lived up to the billing as the top-ranked wrestler in the bracket en route to the victory.

The wins move McNally to 6-1 on the season with a pair of falls through the first two weekends of the season. Kent State is back at home on Saturday for a "triangular" meet with Michigan State and Oklahoma coming into the MAC Center. The meet is set for a noon start time and can be seen on FloWrestling.
