Panthong Named MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Kent State junior Pimnipa Panthong was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday following her standout performance at the Lady Buckeye Invitatonal.
The Junior led the way for the Flashes as they secured their fifth tournament win of the season at the Lady Buckeye Invitational. Panthong secured her fifth top-10 finish of the season finishing tied for fourth at 3-over par 219. The junior led the tournament in par-5 scoring at -5, while collecting 37 pars through 54 holes.
On the season, Panthong is averaging 72.47 and has gone 16 rounds for par or better with five rounds in the 60's.
