Women’s Hoops Draws Louisiana in Inaugural MAC-SBC Challenge Contest

CLEVELAND – The Kent State women's basketball team will play at Louisiana on Sunday, Nov. 12, as the first pairings in the MAC-SBC Challenge were announced on Thursday.
This year marks the debut of the challenge, which is a scheduling alliance in the sports of men's and women's basketball between the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Sun Belt Conference (SBC).
Each team will play one home and one away game each season as part of the alliance. The second contest will take place on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, with the matchups based on real-time NET rankings and announced in January.
Each MAC-SBC Challenge game will be carried on an ESPN platform.
