Women’s Golf Set to Open Season at the Boilermaker Classic

The Kent State women's golf team is set to open the 2024-2025 season on Monday in the Boilermaker Classic. The 54-hole competition will take place over two days, with players set to complete 36 holes on Monday before the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

Notes:
- Veronika Kedronova returns to Kent State after a stellar freshman campaign, which included claiming the individual qualifier spot for the NCAA Championship at the Las Vegas Regional last May.
- Also returning for the Golden Flashes is Leon Takagi, who begins her junior season after claiming back-to-back individual MAC Championships in her first two years at Kent State.
- Four freshmen are set to make their Kent State debuts at the Boilermaker Classic. Gracie Larsen, Isabella Goyette, and Aryn Matthews will compete as part of the Golden Flashes team, while Petra Babicova is set to compete as an individual.
