
Golden Flashes Post Trio of Program Top-10 Marks to Open Doug Raymond Invitational

KENT, Ohio – Three members of the Kent State track and field teams posted top-10 marks in the program record book on Friday as competition at the Doug Raymond Invitational began inside of the Kent State Field House.
Amryne Chilton won the women's 200-meter dash in a time of 23.86 seconds that ranks third all-time. Yissis Cortijo Dominc crossed the finish line in 24.13 seconds for second and the No. 5 spot in the record book.
Shelby Grover won the women's long jump with a mark of 19'-5.25", which puts her eighth all-time.
Amare Hall and Ethan Yost was also victorious on the day. Hall soared 24'-0.75" in the men's long jump and Yost posted a time of 14:46.00 in the men's 5,000-meter run.
Donovan Crawford was the top collegiate performer in the men's weight throw and placed second overall with a top toss of 63'-5".
Liam Vinskovich cleared 6'-6.75" for second in the men's high jump.
In a photo finish, Sean Callahan Jr. finished second in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 21.78 seconds.
The Doug Raymond Invitational resumes on Saturday with the first events scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
