Women's Golf Earns No. 7 National Ranking

Golfweek has released its first ranking of the 2015-16 season, and Kent State women's golf has earned the No. 7 spot in the country.
The Golden Flashes have a scoring average of 290.33 through two events and have three players averaging 73 or lower through six rounds of competition. Versus par the team is currently at +4.33 while the same three players are all better then +2.00.
Kent State started the season with a 4th place tie at the Minnesota Invitational before capturing the tournament title at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships over host Tennessee.
The team returns to action October 4-6 at the Jim West Challenge hosted by Texas State.
