Kent State Freshman Peyton Williams Named to 2026 NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List

KENT, Ohio – Kent State freshman reliever Peyton Williams has been named to the 2026 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List, the organization announced Wednesday. Williams is one of 61 relief pitchers from across the country to earn a spot on the midseason list for the 21st annual award.

Golden Flashes Host Mercyhurst for Midweek Rematch at Schoonover Stadium

KENT, Ohio – Kent State baseball returns home to Schoonover Stadium on Wednesday, April 22, for a non-conference midweek rematch against Mercyhurst, with first pitch set for 6 p.m. Eastern. The Golden Flashes enter at 28-10 overall and 15-6 in MAC play, the best winning percentage in the conference and 13th-best in the nation at .737.
