Kent State Falls to Wofford in Terrier Invite Finale

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Kent State dropped its final game of the Terrier Invite on Sunday afternoon, falling to host Wofford 10-4 at Hope Field. The Golden Flashes (2-3) were unable to overcome an early five-run deficit despite a late rally attempt against the Terriers. Freshman Caleigh Shaulis led the offense with a trio of RBIs, including a two-run home run in the sixth inning. Golden Flashes Earn Shutout Victory in Day Two Split at the Terrier Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Kent State (2-2) split a pair of games on the second day of the Terrier Invite on Saturday, falling to IU Indy in a high-scoring affair before bouncing back with a dominant victory over Monmouth. The Golden Flashes dropped an 9-8 decision to the Jaguars in game one before rolling to a 9-0 win over the Hawks in five innings.

Kent State Earns Walk-Off Win, Falls to Wofford in Opening Day Split

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Kent State split a pair of games on the opening day of the Terrier Invite on Friday, defeating IU Indy in a back-and-forth slugfest before falling to Wofford in the afternoon. The Golden Flashes (1-1) rallied for an 11-10 victory over the Jaguars in game one before dropping an 11-1 decision to the Terriers in five innings.
