Golden Flashes Officially Wrap Up 2013-14 Season

The Kent State women's basketball team held its 2nd annual Flash Family Gathering this past Sunday afternoon. The Fairways at Twin Lakes hosted the event attended by team members, families, staff and program supporters. The annual function provides an opportunity to recognize team and individual accomplishments from the season. Highlights included a season recap, a team award presentation and a video montage from games throughout the season.
Along with recognizing various players for their individual accomplishments, Head Coach Danielle O'Banion awarded Sixth Player awards to three external individuals. These awards recognize supporters of the program who go above and beyond to enhance the experience of the team. This year, Sixth Player awards went to Kent State University professors Dr. Linda Walker and Dr. George Garrison, and Jenna Matson of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
