Johnson Earns Co-MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND - Kent State men's golfer Chase Johnson has earned Mid-American Conference Co-Golfer of the Week honors for his performance at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate in Dallas, Texas.

Johnson was one of only 11 golfers to finish the tournament under par, coming in at six-under par 207 (71-70-66). Johnson was within four strokes of winning the tournament. His 66 on Tuesday in the final round was his second best round of the fall season, and tied for his previous career-best round before the season. His performance helped the team finish the fall in the top-four of every tournament. He is also the fourth Golden Flash to earn a weekly conference honor.
