Flashes Face American Wednesday to Start NCAA Tournament

NCAA play will begin for the Golden Flashes on Wednesday as they face American at 2:00 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
The Matchup
β’ Kent State is 1-2 all-time against American
β’ The two teams faced each other during the 2015 regular season with the Flashes scoring in double overtime for a 2-1 victory on the road
β’ Prior to that, American won 2-1 at home in 2010 in a NCAA postseason contest and 3-0 at a neutral site in 2007
β’ The Eagles earned an automatic berth after winning the Patriot League Tournament tile with a 2-1 win over Boston University
