Collegiate Baseball announced its 2017 preseason All-Americans on Monday with Kent State's Eli Kraus included in its Second Team honorees.
Kraus was a postseason Second Team All-American last season as a sophomore after compiling a 9-1 record and 2.64 ERA in 14 starts. The lefty struck out 59 and walked just 24 in 88.2 innings pitched. He was also named to the All-MAC First Team in 2016. Kraus is one of just three players from the Mid-American Conference to make the list. The other two were named to the third team.
Kraus will continue to be a key component to the weekend rotation this season when the Golden Flashes start competition in February.
