DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former Kent State University women's golfer Jennifer Ha finished in the top-20 at the final stage of LPGA Qualifying School, earning a spot on the LPGA Tour.
Ha finished in a tie for eighth overall at 8-under par (70-74-69-67-72=352), four strokes under the top-20 cutoff. As a top-20 finisher, Ha earns Category 12 LPGA membership and will be eligible to compete in most LPGA events moving forward.
"We are so proud of Jennifer and what she has accomplished," said head coach Greg Robertson. "She's always been a pretty special player with a lot of promise. But in addition to that, she's had the drive, work ethic and 'never give up' attitude to make this happen. Kent State couldn't have a better representative playing on the biggest stage in women's golf."
Ha had a decorated collegiate career prior to graduating in 2015. She started as the Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year and went on to claim back-to-back MAC Golfer of the Year honors. She helped lead the Golden Flashes to MAC Championships in all four years of her collegiate career.
