MAC Announces Six Game Times for Flashes

On Thursday, the Mid-American Conference released kickoff times for six of Kent State's 12 football games, including four matchups at Dix Stadium. Season tickets, for all six home games are now available to the public, along with Family Season 4-Packs and 3-Game Mini Plans.
The Golden Flashes' home opener on Saturday, Sept. 10, will kick off at 6 p.m., against North Carolina A&T State on ESPN3 followed by a fireworks display.
The following Saturday, Kent State will honor its 2016 Varsity "K" Hall of Fame class during the Flashes' Sept. 17 game against Monmouth, which will begin at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN3.
Kent State's 2016 Homecoming game against archrival Akron is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m., on Oct. 1. The Flashes will also have a 3:30 kick the following Saturday (Oct. 8) at Buffalo. Possible television appearances for both games are to be determined.
On Tuesday, Nov. 8, Kent State will host Western Michigan at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on either ESPN2 or CBS Sports Network.
The Flashes have another Tuesday night contest at Bowling Green on Nov. 15, which will kick off at either 6 or 7 p.m. The MAC East matchup will be shown on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
General admission season tickets start as low as $60. Members of The Golden Flashes Club and season ticket holders may also purchase tickets to Kent State's games at Penn State (Sept. 3) and Alabama (Sept. 24). Call the ticket office at 330-672-2244.
Family Season 4-Packs include four season tickets and food vouchers for four hot dogs, four drinks and a family size popcorn with each game. A 3-Game Mini Plan for the Ohio, Western Michigan and Northern Illinois games can be purchased for $30.
The 20th MAC Football Championship can be seen on ESPN2 Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. All other game kick times and television will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game.
