Golden Flashes Picked to Win MAC East

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Kent State's women's soccer team has been selected to finish atop the Mid-American Conference East Division as voted on by the coaches from around conference. Ball State was selected to win the MAC West Division, while the coaches vote to determine the eventual MAC Tournament Champion ended in a three-way tie between the Golden Flashes, Ball State and Central Michigan.

The 2016 regular season for Kent State gets underway this Friday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. when they travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Buckeyes. The Golden Flashes will host Canisius in their home opener at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21. Â
