Flashes Hosting Open Practice Thursday

With Kent State football's 2016 opening game quickly approaching, season ticket holders, employees and fans are invited to attend practice Thursday, Aug. 18, at 4:30 p.m., inside Dix Stadium.
Season ticket holders can pick up their tickets during practice on the Varsity "K" Patio in the northwest corner of Dix Stadium. Chairback ticket holders can find their seat locations and donors can locate hospitality areas available to them throughout the season.
Thursday's practice is also a part of Kent State's Employee, Family and Friends Appreciation Days. Light appetizers, and beverages will be provided near the northeast platform of the stadium courtesy of Beef O'Brady's. Giveaways and more will be available. Employees are asked to park on the east side of Dix Stadium and bring their ID cards for check-in on the east side of the stadium.
The Golden Flashes open up the 2016 regular season at Penn State on Saturday, Sept. 3. Kent State then hosts North Carolina A&T State on Sept. 10. Season tickets, Family Season 4-Packs, 3-Game Mini Plans and single-game tickets are all on sale now.
