Hall Named an All-High Major Honoree

KENT, Ohio – Kent State University men's basketball senior Jimmy Hall has been named a College Sports Madness All-High Major honoree.
Hall, named to the fourth team, was listed on College Sports Madness' All-Mid-American Conference First Team. He enters the year after receiving NABC All-District First Team honors in 2015-16 and two straight All-MAC awards.
Last season, Hall averaged 16.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He logged seven double-doubles and a 48.8 percent shooting mark from the field, ranking among the top 10 in the MAC in each category. He scored in double-figures in 30 of 32 games, including nine 20-point performances. He was named to the all-tournament team at Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic and earned two MAC East Division Player of the Week awards.
The 2016-17 season officially begins Saturday with the team's first official practice of the new season. The season tips off on Nov. 12 against Cleveland State in Youngstown, Ohio at 5 p.m.
