Delpech Selected for NFHCA Senior Game

GILBERT, Ariz. - The 2017 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Senior Game roster was announced on Wednesday, with Kent State's Ines Delpech selected among 50 student-athletes to compete.
The Senior Game contest will be played following the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Tournament, which takes place on Nov. 17 at 2 and 4:45 p.m. at Louisville. The NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship will be held on Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.
The All-American Golden Flash is in the midst of another solid campaign as Kent State defends the MAC Championship. She leads the Flashes on offense and defense, guiding Kent State to four shutouts this season. She also has two defensive saves, including a key stop this past weekend against Central Michigan.
Offensively, Delpech leads the Flashes with six goals, 63 shots and 33 shots on goal. She has one game-winning goal this year, coming on the road in a 2-1 victory over No. 23 Ohio State. She has logged 70 minutes in all 15 games for Kent State.
Delpech and the Flashes will continue its march towards the postseason with a match against Longwood Saturday at noon.
