Men’s and Women’s XC Named All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Kent State University's men's and women's cross country programs were named All-Academic Teams as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday, Feb. 9.

USTFCCCA Release

The men's team registered a cumulative GPA of 3.65 and the women's team registered a 3.5, as both teams surpassed the All-Academic qualifying standard of a 3.0.

Overall, there were 431 teams that earned distinction from the USTFCCCA for their efforts both athletically and academically. Of those 431 teams, 242 were women's and 189 were men's.
