Women's basketball Head Coach Todd Starkey has announced the signing of Kennedy Roberts-Rosser out of Fairfield High School in Cincinnati to join the Flashes for the 2017-18 season.
"We are thrilled about signing Kennedy," said Starkey. "She has a phenomenal attitude and has the natural talent and ability to develop into an impact player in the MAC. This recruiting class will add talent and much needed depth to our roster."
Roberts-Rosser is a 6'1" forward that averaged ten points and six rebounds her senior season before being sidelined due to injury. She received multiple athlete of the week honors and was also a All-Butler County All-Star Game participant. Roberts-Rosser is described as a great defender and rebounder with a long wingspan that can run the floor well. She also spent time playing for the Midwest Takeover AAU team.
The recruit will join four other signees who committed to Kent State in November. All five will look to continue the Golden Flashes' recent success in Starkey's second year this coming fall.
