Flashes Add Ole Miss & Auburn to Future Schedules; Six Kick Times Released for 2017

Kent State recently added a pair of Southeastern Conference opponents to future schedules during non-conference play. The Golden Flashes will visit Ole Miss in 2018 and Auburn in 2019.
Both matchups against the SEC West opponents will be first-time trips in the program's 98-year history. Next year's tilt at Ole Miss will be part of a September slate that includes trips to Illinois and Penn State.
The Golden Flashes also recently added several kickoff times to their 2017 schedule, beginning with a noon start on ESPN at defending national champion Clemson on Sept. 2. Kent State will host Howard the following Saturday (Sept. 9) in its home opener at 3:30 p.m.
Season tickets for 2017 go on sale Monday, June 5. Fans can attend five games at Dix Stadium starting as low as $48.

The 2017 Mid-American Conference schedule currently features 22 late October and November nationally televised games on ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and CBS Sports Network. All other conference home kick times and television will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game.
