Softball Announces Fall Schedule

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University softball team has announced its upcoming fall schedule, which will feature eight contests, as announced by head coach Eric Oakley.
The Golden Flashes will begin their fall schedule on Friday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Firestone Stadium in Akron to take on Akron and Ashland as part of a doubleheader.
The schedule also features a Big 10 opponent on Sunday, Sept. 24, when Kent State travels to East Lansing to take on Michigan State.
Kent State will finish out its fall schedule with three home weekends when it hosts Kent State – Tuscarawas and Ohio Dominican on Sunday, Oct. 1, Walsh on Saturday, Oct. 7, and the Alumni Game on Saturday. Oct. 14.
This year's fall games will feature seven new additions to a squad that finished the 2017 season (33-28, 15-9 Mid-American) as the MAC Tournament Champions, earning a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
