MAC Men's Basketball Schedule Released

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference has released its full men's basketball schedule for the 2017-18 season.
For Kent State, the schedule is highlighted by a pair of preselected television dates, both of which will be played at home. CBS Sports Network will feature Kent State when the Golden Flashes face Ohio Friday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. and Bowling Green on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.

The defending MAC Tournament Champions will begin the league slate on Jan. 2 in DeKalb, Illinois against Northern Illinois. Kent State will play its first home MAC game on Jan. 6 against Central Michigan. The last time the two teams met, they set the record for combined points in a MAC Tournament game.
Kent State will compete in five home games in January and four in February, three of which will be on weekends. Kent State will also host Ball State and Buffalo in January, and welcome Eastern Michigan, Akron, Bowling Green and Miami in February.
The Flashes will host the first leg of the Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge against rival Akron on Feb. 17. The regular season is slated to end at Akron on March 2. The first round of the MAC Tournament is scheduled for March 5-10, with the final three rounds taking place at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
