- In 2016, Thomas became the eighth Golden Flash to compete in the Olympics, as she represented Jamaica in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. Thomas competed in the shot put, finishing 25th with a mark of 16.99m (55' 9").

• Represented Jamaica at the 2014 Common Wealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland on August 1st, as she finished in 8th place in the discus throw. Thomas had a best mark of 55.02m (180' 6") in the competition.
2013 SEASON
• 2013 Indoor Championship team finished third in the shot put with a mark of 15.53m
• Outdoor Championship team finished fourth in the shot put and second in the discus
• Went on to the national level and finished eighth in discus
PRIOR TO KENT STATE
• Won the discus at the high school championship in 2010
• Set Penn Relays record in the high school discus throw with a mark of 51.02m in 2012
• Took third palce at the national senior championships
• Captured titles at 2012 ISSA/Grace Kennedy Championship in shot put (14.47m) and javelin (40m) and finished second in discus (50.42m)
• Earned bronze at 2011 ISSA/Grace Kennedy meet in the shot put
• Player on the 2011 Jamaica Pan American Games team
