KENT, Ohio - Be a part of Kent State football's newest tradition and help your Golden Flashes gather momentum into the 2010 season when you join Kent State head coach Doug Martin and the Flashes football team as they enter Dix Stadium for every home game.

The inaugural Flash Walk will take place Thursday, Sept. 2 at 5 p.m. Fans will have an opportunity to rally their favorite Golden Flashes players as they prepare for the game, while the players will get the chance to see their fans' school spirit, allowing both groups to gather energy and excitement heading into the 7 p.m. kickoff against Murray State.

Fans are asked to gather at the Flash Bash Fan Experience and join the Kent State cheerleaders and band to welcome the team's arrival at the Field House at 5 p.m. The football team will be dropped off at the Flash Bash Fan Experience, entering from the center doors on the Field House's south side. The team will then promanade through a tunnel of fans before exiting the main doors of the Field House and heading to Dix Stadium.

A reminder to all fans, the Flash Bash Fan Experience will open Thursday at 4 p.m. and conclude 30 minutes before the 7 p.m. kickoff.
