2009-10: Went 10-4 in dual meets and 20-10 overall...tallied six major decisions, tied for third on the team...won four straight matches in a third place finish at Oklahoma Gold Classic...also claimed four straight victories in a fifth place finish at the Body Bar Invitational...went 3-1 at Virginia Duals...placed fourth at MAC Championships, going 2-2 with a pin...recorded first pin of the year in MAC dual against Eastern Michigan...defeated NCAA qualifier Jimmy Hammel in KSU's dual win over Buffalo...claimed major decisions in both of Kent State's comeback victories over Virginia Tech.
2008-09: Was redshirted...finished 16-2 at the 197-pound weight class in open tournaments...won back-to-back tournaments at 197 pounds at Cleveland State (12/14) and the Kent State Open (1/18)...finished second at the Michigan State Open (11/9) and fourth at the Ashland Open (11/15).
Prior to Kent State: Placed at the Ohio High School Wrestling Championships his sophomore through senior seasons at Barberton high school...finished second his junior and senior season...finished sixth his sophomore season...won an AAU national championship at the Disney Duals as a wrestler for Team Samsons...wrestled for Dave Mariola Jr. at Barberton...lettered three years in football and once in cross country.
