• Went 4-2 at Southern Scuffle

2009-10
• Suffered a season-ending injury in opening weekend at Hokie Open
• Earned starting nod to begin the season with intrasquad scrimmage win over Casey Newburg.
2008-09
• Placed third at MAC Championships
• Finished the season 14-15 and 1-4 in the MAC at 174 pounds
• Placed sixth at both the Oklahoma Gold tournament (11/8) and the Body Bar Invitational (11/22)
• Recorded 10 decisions, two major decisions and a tech fall.
2007-08
• Finished fourth in the 174-pound weight class at the MAC Championships
• Recorded a 13-25 record, including a 1-4 Mid-American Conference record
• Finished sixth at the Body Bar Invitational with a 2-3 record
• Went 2-1 at the Lock Haven Duals, contributing to KSU’s 3-0 record.
2006-07
• Was redshirted and wrestled unattached
• Posted a record of 6-8 with two major decisions
• Placed fourth at the Cleveland State Open.
Prior to Kent State
• Was a four-year letter-winner at Western Reserve High School
• Compiled a career record of 138-32
• Was a three-time state qualifier and a state runner-up as a junior
• Won a conference championship in three consecutive seasons
• Earned district and sectional championships as a junior
• Posted a 29-3 record as a senior and a 39-3 mark as a junior
• Was coached by Rob Jennings
• Earned four varsity letters in both football and baseball.
