2009-10: Recorded three major decisions...went 3-2 at Simonson Open...began the season with a 3-2 showing at Hokie Open...claimed a 14-4 major decision victory in first career dual meet against Cleveland State...placed fifth at Edinboro Open...competed at both 133 and 141.

2008-09: Was redshirted...went 11-10 in open tournaments, including a fourth-place finish at the second Ashland Open (1/24) at 141 pounds...placed fifth at the first Ashland Open 11/9 at 133 pounds.

Prior to Kent State: Finished with an 106-42 record at Coshocton, including a 53-1 record his senior season...placed eighth his junior season and runner-up his senior season at the Ohio High School Wrestling Championships...was coached by Brian Baughman at Coshocton...wrestled for Team Akron Wizards and Team Ohio Scarlet...finished sixth at the AAU Junior Olympics and 12th at the Disney Duals.
