2009-10: Totaled 17 victories and three pins in first season in the starting lineup...captured third place at Body Bar Invitational...placed sixth at Oklahoma Gold Classic...went 7-5 to start the season with two pins and a technical fall...earned MAC dual wins against Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan...went 2-2 at Southern Scuffle...finished fourth at MAC Championships...dropped three matches in overtime...placed fifth at U.S. Junior Open, competing in freestyle.
2008-09: Went 21-14 in 35 matches at 125 pounds with eight falls, three technical falls and three major decision...finished third at the first Ashland Open (11/15), fourth at the Cleveland State Open (12/14) and fifth at the Kent State Open (1/18).
Prior to Kent State: Compiled a 224-15 record while wrestling for Sandusky St. Mary’s Central Catholic...placed at the Ohio High School State Wrestling Championships all four years of high school, finishing second his sophomore, junior and senior years...won four district, four sectional championships and three Sandusky Bay Conference championships...named to the All-SBC team as a sophomore and senior...his 224 wins for his high school career and the 63 wins his junior season are both Ohio state records.
