Prior to Kent State
• Compiled a 224-15 record while wrestling for Sandusky St. Mary’s Central Catholic
• Placed at the Ohio High School State Wrestling Championships all four years of high school, finishing second his sophomore, junior and senior years
• Won four district, four sectional championships and three Sandusky Bay Conference championships
• Named to the All-SBC team as a sophomore and senior
• His 224 wins for his high school career and the 63 wins his junior season are both Ohio state records.
