Kevin Zabo joined the Kent State University men's basketball team as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2021.

Zabo returns to Kent State after a three-year professional career in Canada and in Spain. The Sherbrooke, Quebec native played two seasons at Kent State after transferring from Indian Hills Community College. Zabo was part of the guard rotation for the 2017 MAC Championship squad and played in 70 games for the Golden Flashes in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, starting 31.
