Arthur Robert "Sty" Steiskai KSU CAREER: Lettered 12 times at Kent, earning three monograms each, in football, track, and wrestling (1928, 1929, 1930), two in baseball (1930, 1931) and one in basketball (1928)…Was the Ohio State collegiate wrestling champ at 175 pounds in 1930 and at heavyweight in 1931…Played fullback and linebacker on the gridiron, guard in basketball…Returned to KSU following graduation to train for the 1932 Olympic wrestling trials…Earned an alternate spot on the U.S. team at 191 pounds…HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Graduated from Westlake High School in 1927…Earned letters in football, basketball, and track as a prep…Led his football and basketball teams to two championships and captained both teams…Placed second in the state in the mile in 1926… POST KSU CAREER: Coached basketball, football, and track at Leetonia (Oh.)
