HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Prepped at nearby Springfield High School…Graduated in 1961 after lettering in basketball and track…KSU CAREER: Was a four-year letterwinner on the hard-court for the Flashes, earning monograms from 1964-67…Named Second Team All-Mid-American Conference as a junior and was selected team captain as a senior…Was named the Flashes’ MVP as a senior…Led team in scoring, field-goal and free-throw percentages as a junior…Named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities…Received his bachelor’s degree in social studies in 1967…POST KSU CAREER: Drafted by the Cincinnati Royals of the NBA…One of only two Kent Roundball standouts ever to be drafted.
