Dri Archer electrified the Mid-American Conference with his agility, speed and quickness. Over his four-year career, Archer averaged over seven yards per carry, including a staggering 9.0 yards per carry in 2012. Dri was also a weapon in the return game, earning the 2012 MAC Special Teams Player of the Year honors and was named an All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Archer is a mainstay in the Kent State record books ranking 2nd in TDs (40); 3rd in points (240); 3rd in all-purpose yards (4,980); t-6th in receiving TDs (12); 9th in rushing yards (2,342); 10th in rushing TDs (24). He also owns several single-season records, including: points (138 in 2012), TDs (23 in 2012 and all-purpose yards (2,577 in 2012. Archer was a third-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2014 draft and saw time with the Steelers, Jets and Bills in his NFL career.
