Kyle Hallock was a leader on the 2011 MAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship team, winning MAC Pitcher of the Year and being named to the All-MAC First Team that same year. His 1.95 ERA and ten wins in 2011 both ranked first in the MAC and top 30 in the NCAA, good enough to earn Collegiate Baseball Third Team All-American honors. He finished his career ranked among Kent State history at fourth in innings pitched with 297 and fifth in strikeouts with 237 before being selected by the Astros in the 10th round of the 2011 MLB draft.
