Flashes Will Take on George Mason in Televised O'Reilly ESPNU BracketBusters Game

KENT, Ohio -- The Kent State University men's basketball team will travel to George Mason University as part of the O'Reilly ESPU BracketBusters Saturday, Feb. 17. The game will be televised by one of ESPN's networks, either ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN360. The broadcast platform and the game time will be determined in the near future and announced on Thursday (Feb. 2).
The Golden Flashes are making their fifth appearance in the five-year old event, but their first on the road. Kent State is 2-2 in BracketBusters game, including a thrilling 80-76 overtime victory last year at home over Butler University. George Mason, coming off a Cinderella run to the NCAA Final Four last season, is making its third appearance.
Currently, both teams are 12-8 overall on the season. The Golden Flashes host Central Michigan University Wednesday night (Jan. 31) at the M.A.C. Center at 7 p.m.
