The Golden Flashes were picked to win the MAC East Division and were also selected as the MAC Tournament favorite.
Detroit, which is coming off an 11-19 season, defeated Albion (57-48) and Hope (73-64) in exhibition games this season. The Titans have two starters and 10 returners back from last year, including 5-10 senior guard Jon Goode, who scored 34 points in the win over Hope on Tuesday.
