Golden Flashes Travel to Miami Looking to Extend Three Game Winning Streak on Thursday

The Game...
Receiving two votes in the latest AP Top-25 poll, the Golden Flashes (13-3; 2-0) hit the road having won three straight and 10 of the last 11. After playing six of the last seven at home, Kent State is playing away from home for just the second time since Dec. 5. Looking for the fifth win of the year against a top-100 RPI* team, KSU heads to Miami for its first Mid-American Conference road game this season on Thursday. The Golden Flashes (39) and RedHawks (34) are the two highest rated MAC teams in the RPI this season. The Golden Flashes are coming off a 63-49 win over Bowling Green led by a career high 20-points and five steals from sophomore Chris Singletary.
Last season's MAC Champion, Miami (6-8; 0-2) has lost four straight and started out the conference schedule 0-2 with losses at Akron and Ohio. The RedHawks are coming off a five game road trip and return home for the first time since Dec. 18.
