Guyton Drafted By Erie Bayhawks in NBDL Draft

KENT, Ohio -- Former Golden Flash standout Carlton Guyton was selected in the seventh round of the NBA Developmental League draft by the Erie Bayhawks this past week.

The 2011 MAC Sixth-Man of the Year, Guyton averaged 9.9 points per game in 2011-12. He came on strong down the stretch averaging 13.0 points over the final nine games heading into the MAC Tournament.

The Bayhawks, a minor league affiliate of the New York Knicks, went 28-22 during the 2011-12 season in finishing third in the Eastern Division.

Notable former Bayhawks are Jeremy Lin, Donald Sloan, Samardo Samuels, Joey Graham, and Christian Eyenga.
