The Game
Kent State (19-8; 9-4 MAC) makes its first ever visit to the Stroh Center on Saturday with a trip to Bowling Green (14-13; 7-6 MAC) for a 6:00 pm contest that can been seen live on SportsTime Ohio. The Golden Flashes can wrap up one of the top four seeds and guarantee a bye to at least the quarterfinals in the upcoming MAC Tournament.
Heading into this weekend's action Kent State is in the midst of a three-way tie with Ohio and Buffalo for second place in the Mid-American Conference East Division and overall standings.
The Golden Flashes are looking to end a two game losing streak and earn a season sweep of the Falcons for a second consecutive year. In the first meeting this season Kent State outlasted Bowling Green 92-87 in the highest scoring MAC game this season.
Kent State is coming off a 62-60 loss at Miami on Tuesday in which junior guard Randal Holt led the team with 15 points. The Golden Flashes second leading scorer with 12.7 points per game, Holt has hit 13 three-pointers in the last four games and is shooting 43 percent from three during MAC play. After missing the Charleston game to injury, senior forward Justin Greene returned vs Miami scoring 11 points, including two game-tying baskets in the final 1:20, for his 14th consecutive double-digit scoring effort. Averaging 15.8 points per game in MAC play, Greene ranks second in the in league in scoring.
Bowling Green is coming off a 79-68 loss at Akron on Wednesday. A'uston Calhoun leads four players in double figures with 13.3 points per game. The Falcons are 10-3 at home this season having won four straight.

Kent State returns to the M.A.C. Center for the final two regular season games next week hosting Ohio on Wednesday and Akron on Friday.
