
Women's Soccer Inks Seven to Letters of Intent

KENT, Ohio- Kent State University women's soccer head coach Rob Marinaro announced the signing of seven players to national letters of intent to become members of the Golden Flashes soccer program next fall.
"I am very proud of our 2015 recruiting class," said Marinaro. "Abby Richter and Pat Sweeney have worked extremely hard in helping me secure a wonderful class. Each of these young ladies will be positive additions to our program both on and off the field. They are a special group of people and we are looking forward to getting things started with them this fall."
The following is a breakdown of Kent State's signees:
PAIGE CULVER
Center Midfield / Defender – 5-9
Oakville, Ontario – St. Thomas Aquinas
Toronto Lady Lynx, Oakville Soccer Club
Attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School where she earned Academic Honor Roll three consecutive years … Named captain of the Ontario Provincial Team and was part of the National Training Center from 2010-13 …This past summer, Culver played for the Toronto Lady Lynx in the W-League where she started every game … Plans to major in Biological Health and Wellness.
DOMINIQUE DINARDO
Forward – 5-2
Strongsville, Ohio – Strongsville
Cleveland FC
Led Strongsville High School to a 71-14-5 overall record and captured a state championship during her rookie campaign … Helped the Mustangs to three Northeast Ohio Valley Championships, three district championships and a regional championship … Was an All-Conference selection and an All-Great Cleveland Second Team honoree … Played for Cleveland FC where she captured a 2014 State Cup Championship and was also a regional qualifier … Plans to major in Business.

Defender – 5-10
Ajax, Ontario – Notre Dame Catholic
Brams United Bandits
Member of the Brams United Bandits Club Soccer Team … Won the U16 Ontario and Canadian National Club Championship with the Bandits and also a League Cup Championship … Was a member of the Ontario Provincial Team as a U16 player.
MIRANDA LAMBERT
Midfield – 5-9
Oswego, Ill. - Oswego East
Team Chicago Academy
Named Best Offensive Player her sophomore year at Oswego East High School after earning 16 points on six goals and four assists … Earned the Best Newcomer award as a rookie … Competed for Team Chicago Academy where she led the squad to the MRL First Division Championship in 2014 and posted an overall record of 17-6-3.
BRITTANY MAHONEY

Cincinnati, Ohio – Oak Hills
Kings Hammer Academy
Tallied 21 goals and seven assists while competing at Oak Hills High School … A three-year letter winner, Mahoney's team finished runner-up in the Greater Miami Conference in both 2012 and 2014 … Captured a district championship in 2014 and earned an 18-2-0 record … Earned Academic All-Southwest honors and Ohio Scholastic Academic Excellence Honor …  Played for Kings Hammer Academy … Won the USYS National League Championship in 2012 … Also helped Kings Hammer Academy to six Ohio South State Cup Championships and three Midwest Regional League Championships.

Member of the Vancouver Whitecaps Elite Girls for the past two years… Helped the Whitecaps to a first place finish in the regular season in the Metro Woman's Soccer League (2013) and earned second for the Whitecaps in the Pacific Coastal League (2014) ... Was also a 2014 Challenger Cup runner-up ... Was a member of Canadian U17 pool in 2012…Played for the BC Provincial Team at U13 through U16 and was a part of the National Training Center West for the past three years…. Plans to major in Pre-Med.

A three-year letter winner at Greensburg Central Catholic, Sauter helped lead the Centurions to three WPIAL Championships and a PIAA State Championship … Scored 17 goals and posted 30 assists her senior year to earn All-WPIAL honors and All-Section accolades … As a central defender her sophomore year, her team earned 12 shutouts and were both WPIAL and PIAA State Champions … As a rookie, she was the ESPN National State Leader for assists (22) … During her career with Beadling Gunners and PA West ODP, Sauter won a PA West Championship in 2013 & 2014, and were Premier League South Division champions …. She also competed in the USYS ODP Region I semifinals in 2012 & 2013 with her state team … Was also a member of her high school cross country team and was a member of the National Honor Society … Plans to major in Applied Conflict Management with a minor in Business.Â
