
Women’s Soccer Lands Three on the OCSA 2015 All-Ohio Team

KENT, Ohio – Kent State women's soccer landed three athletes on the OCSA 2015 NCAA Division I Women's All-Ohio Team announced Thursday.
Sophomore Donavan Capehart and junior Jenna Hellstrom earned first team honors while freshman Paige Culver earned second team honors.
A native of Orient, Ohio, Capehart started in all 20 games for the Golden Flashes and led the offense with 12 goals. A first team All-MAC selection, Capehart finished second on the team in points (24) and recorded two hat-tricks this season. Capehart was named to the TD Bank Classic All-Tournament Team, and was also a member of the Academic All-MAC team and earned second team CoSIDA Academic All-District honors. Capehart also earned NSCAA Women's All-Great Lakes Region honors.
Hellstrom, a three-time OSCA All-Ohio selection, earned MAC Offensive Player of the Year and first team All-MAC honors. Hellstrom led the Golden Flash attack with 34 points on 11 goals and 12 assists. A starter in 19 games, Hellstrom also led the MAC in most offensive categories, including shots (76), shots per game (4.0), points (34), points per game (1.79), assists per game (0.63) and game-winning goals (5).  Hellstrom ended the season ranked fourth in the country in assists per game and sixth in total assists. Hellstrom also earned NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region honors.
Rookie defender Paige Culver earned second team All-MAC and earned a spot on the league's All-Freshman team. The Oakville, Ontario native started in 19 games and scored one goal in Kent State's 7-3 win over Northern Illinois.Â
